What to Expect & Studio Policy
We are excited to share the joy of clay with you! Please note that when you book a class with us, you are paying for the instructional experience, studio time, materials, and the guidance of our instructors, rather than a guaranteed finished product.
Ceramics is an unpredictable art form that goes through many stages—from shaping and drying to complex bisque and glaze firings. While we do our very best to guide your pieces safely through the kiln, ceramics can occasionally crack, warp, or break during the firing process due to natural physical properties.
Complimentary Firing: As a complimentary part of the class experience, we include the firing and glazing for one piece per person (selected by you at the end of the session).
No Guarantees: Because of the inherent risks involved in firing pottery, finished pieces are not guaranteed, and studio fees are non-refundable in the rare event that a piece is damaged during the firing process.
Works are typically ready to pick up one week from the date of class and we hold the items for up to three weeks from the date of creation).
